Come to discover the highlights of Vietnam on this 13-day program. From the Peaceful City of Hanoi, travel to the amazing Halong Bay, then up North to the Sapa hill station and through the heart of Vietnam’s vibrant past to majestic Hue and quaint Hoi An, finally to the bustling Saigon and to the fertile Mekong Delta

Day 1: Ha Noi - Arrival  (D)
Warmly welcomed by tour guide at Noi Bai International Airport,  transfer to hotel for check in. Cyclo-tour wandering around the streets to enjoy Hanoian livings with its thousands of years of history, French colonial buildings and Ha Noi Old Quarter which consists of 36 ancient & narrow streets bearing names of various traditional trade once conducted there such as Silk street, Paper street, Shoes street, Bronze Street and so on. Dinner at local restaurant. Evening: Enjoy water puppet show which is probably the most unique art performance in the world, originated from the rural village in North of Vietnam in 11th century. Overnight in Ha Noi.

Day 2: Ha Noi - Ha Long  ( B, L )
Sightseeing tour in Hanoi offering a fascinating array of architectural remnants from the French occupation. Visit to the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh who led the country to independence, his stilt house and garden. Stop at the One Pillar Pagoda to say thanks to Goddess of Mercy by the Ly king in 1049, then visit the Temple of Literature, the most ancient university in Vietnam. P.M: Leave by car to the world famous Halong Bay, a unique site where some 3,000 islands emerge from the emaral waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Free time to discover Halong city by night. Overnight in Halong city.

Day 3: Ha Long - Ha Noi  (B, L, D)
Enjoy the 4-hour relaxing boat trip to discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Site of outstanding natural beauty. Ha Long as it is known as “Dragon descending to the sea“ in English, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Discover Thien Cung (The Heaven Palace cave) and Dau Go Grottoes and a panoramic view. Depart Halong to Hanoi with stopover at Dong Trieu Pottery village – one of the most famous ceramic production area in the north of Vietnam. Check in hotel. Free time to visit Hanoi by night. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Ha Noi – Hue (B, L, D)
Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for flight to Hue, the Center of Vietnam and also the Old Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty's Emperors which ruled the country from 1802 until the triumph of the August 1945 Revolution, with its Royal architecture complex recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site. Transfer to hotel upon arrival. Check in. Be at leisure. PM: Crossing Trang Tien Bridge over the spectacular Huong River to visit Hue Royal City followed by a short walking to visit Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue  (B, L, D)
Boat trip on Huong River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, one of the most beautiful and ancient architectural structures of workmanship in Hue then continue to King Ming Mang tomb. PM: A short drive to visit the magnificent tomb of King Tu Duc. On the way returning to hotel, you will have opportunities to watch the local villagers producing the incense stick at their home. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue - Danang – HoiAn  (B, L, D)
Leave Hue for Danang city. Stop over at Lang Co beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. Upon arrival in Danang, visit Cham Museum founded in 1915 where contains the best collections of Cham people sculpture and culture. Proceed to visit Marble Mountains consisting of five hillocks made of marble, The Stone Carving village and South China Sea. Drive further south to HoiAn Ancient town – The World heritage site which used to be one of the major international ports and trading centers in South-East Asia during the 17th – 19th centuries. Overnight in HoiAn.

Day 7: HoiAn - My Son  (B, L, D)
A walking tour with our guide in Hoi An ancient town through the old, narrow streets with ancient wooden houses and visit some interesting historic places such as Japanese Cover Bridge and Assembly Hall of Cantonese Congregation.  Excursion to My Son Holy-land, the religious center of Champa Kingdom between 7th and 3rd century with many Cham towers made of bricks and stones and built in different architectural styles. Overnight in HoiAn.

Day 8: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City  (B, L, D)
Transfer to Danang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh city. it is still called as Saigon by the locals. Meet the tour guide at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in. City tour: Visit around the center of the city, passing the City Hall, Notre Dame Church, General Post office, former President’s palace (The Reufinication Palace today) History museum, and handicraft factory to enjoy Vietnamese fine art and Vietnamese workers’ talent.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh  City - MyTho/Mekong delta – Ho Chi Minh City  (B, L, D)
Drive 80km to the South for My Tho/ Mekong Delta which is criss-crossed by a dense network of cannels. Upon arrival take a boat trip cruising on the Mekong River to visit Thoi Son Island with tropical fruits orchards to experience the life of the Mekong River Delta community and enjoy some fresh fruits offered by the hospitable owners. A short drive to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a combination of Asian and European pagoda. Back to Ho chi Minh city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city. 

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City   (B, L, D)
AM: Drive to Tay Ninh. Drive to Tay Ninh – a famous province for the new, indigenous religion of Caodaism. Visit the Cao Dai holy temple and see noon ceremony of Caodaism followers. PM: On the way back, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network of over 200km tunnels constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence, which played an important role during the War time. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 11: Ho chi Minh City - Departure  (B )
At leisure for shopping. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for departure.
