 The trip is a mixture of sightseeing, adventure and nostalgic revisitation of the old haunts of Nui Dat , Vung Tau, Bien Hoa, Historic Cu Chi tunnels, Long Hai Hills and Saigon ( Ho Chi Minh City ).
Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L,D)
Morning: City tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling Chinatown.
Afternoon: Visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau (B,L,D)
Morning: Walk down to the hydrofoil jetty to take your journey over to Vung Tau if you want or transfer by bus to Vung Tau. You just won't believe how it has changed, your hotel is located right next door to what is left of the "Peter Badcoe" centre, the pool that is, with its resident ducks in a beautiful green slime that covers the bottom of the pool.
Afternoon: Be at leisure. Overnight in Vung Tau. Day 4: Vung Tau - Ba Ria - Vung Tau (B,L,D)
Full day tour to the old site of Long Phuoc tunnels & Museum, Long Tan site, Nui Dat, Horse Shoe & Minh Dam. Overnight in Vung Tau. Day 5: Vung Tau - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L,D)
Morning: Be free at leisure or self exploration in Vung Tau.
Afternoon: Return to HCM City. Dinner on the Saigon River, with a mini cruise, there is ample time on the return to visit some of the night life establishments. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L,D)
Morning: Coach trip to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island with lunch en route. Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then drive back Ho Chi Minh City. Day 7: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
